What I value in a teacher

            I think teachers are important. Without them I don't think people would know as much as they do. Although, I think teachers need to actually know about the subject they are teaching in order to do a good job at helping others learn. I value my teachers who know a lot about the subject they teach. I say this because I personally have a class that is a little bit difficult for me and I think it is because of the teacher now knowing too much about the work she is teaching. In class this teacher goes over our assignments with us but a lot of the time she forgot or doesn't know how to do the problem so other students in the class have to tell her how. I have noticed the people in my class ask other classmates for help more than they ask the teacher. I also do the same. This one particular class has made me realize I really value my teachers who are well educated on their subjects that they teach and are able to actually answer my questions and help me learn.
